Very disappointed

This new dryer worked fine for a week or so, and then it began tripping the circuit breaker every time I used it. I had a handyman come out and check, and then hired an electrician. My wiring was fine. The problem was a defective dryer. I returned it for a refund and bought a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this gas dryer to replace an electric dryer after we converted to gas, and I love it! I wanted a dryer that matched my GE washer, without all the bells and whistles, that would just dry my clothes, and this one does the trick. It has a very large capacity. Other reviews did state that lint sometimes get caught on the bottom of the door (which it does), however, I find that when I am emptying the lint filter, which is on the inside, I simply run the lint along the bottom of the door, and it easily comes off - no real problem! A simple and efficient dryer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's quiet and I haven't seen my clothes coming out this wrinkle-free in a long time.
I'm able to put it on "less dry" and it's fine for most items.
