Not working

Dryer was working fine the 1st 5 years I had it and now it won’t tumble or dry. So distraught to see my dryer not working this soon after having my last dryer over 20 years. Now I have to pay for repairs during a pandemic just to be able to wash me and my newborns clothes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I think we under-bought. However, it was the dryer that seemed to match the washer we had. The washer washes. But the dryer is a bit under-powered for a family of 5. I've cleaned the lint as well as replaced the exhaust hose and exhaust. And it just seems to almost get it done on the first try. It's not bad. I think I just got what I paid for. And that probably means that I'm cheap. So this review is really about my cheapness.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dryer was totally fine until year 4, then the drum motor died. Will never buy GE again.

All of the knobs of this model broke within 1 year of normal use. Terrible constructon and design.
