I did a good bit of research before deciding on this GE dryer, and I think I chose wisely. I am well pleased with this product....the large capacity lit interior and simple controls were 2 of the 3 most important features I was looking for. So far, dry times are reasonable and there is little noise while running. The reasons I rated this dryer a 4 is because I wish the door opened down instead of to the side, and, having the dryer for such a short time, I am waiting to see how it performs in the long run before rating it a 5.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Value Dryer

We bought this dryer a few weeks ago and are very happy with the quality of the product, especially for the price we paid. The GE installing team was in and out of my house within 15 minutes, and carted my old dryer away, all without dinging any walls or floors. While it does not have tons of bells and wistles (but really, who needs those in a dryer anyway) it has a lot of different settings and dries clothes very effectively. Would recommend to other buyers out there looking for a solid dryer without breaking the bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price we are happy with this dryer. It does not have bells and whistles, but it does what it is supposed to do, Dry clothes. I love the lint tray in the front of the dryer, it is much easier to keep it clean. I wish that it was not an extra 100.00 just because it is gas.
