Gas dryers are more expensive than electric ones, but the price was right on the appliance we purchased.

Purchased this GE gas dryer model & delivered on 3-5-2014, because it is simple to use, sturdy, including the dryer handle and the lint trap is firm and easy to clean.

Works great, does not over dry (cook) your clothes. It's just your basic dryer, all you need. Didn't like the $100.00 up charge for the gas dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
