Great dryer

Bought this dryer in Sept 2014 because our old GE dryer would not heat up. The new dryer is fantastic. Clothes dry quicker, and there is a light in the dryer. No cons . Love the dryer.

Overall an okay product

Overall I like the dryer. The only problem I really see is that I sometimes see some of lint still in the dryer and the other day when I opened the door lint was hanging off the bottom in a long strand. My other comment is that I wish I noticed that the dryer opened on the left as my washer is located to the right of the dryer and the dryer door is a bit of a nuisance when loading the dryer but that is my problem and not the manufactuerers.

All the basics . . . all I need

After only two months of use the drum belt broke and the dryer wouldn't work. A GE repairman came and fixed it pronto. He put an old style belt on it that was wider than the original. That being said, the rest of the dryer functions properly and all previous GE dryer models I have owned worked very well. I would rate this dryer higher if the belt issue didn't happen.

Lint basket does not catch all the lint is seems to collect around the walls of the door

Great Dryer

This is a great dryer. It has all of the different temperatures you would ever need. Easy to use and the lint filter is easy to clean. I like this dryer! It's a great compliment to my new GE washer. I'm happy!!
