Has light lit up inside the dryer

Our old GE died after 27 yrs! It had been work great over the yr so I want to stick with the same brand. This one has light lit up when I open so I can see. Didn't have this feature last one. I can see what I left there sometimes, now I can locate it. It's simple to use. Have this for few days and so far so good.

Great dryer my wife loves it! Dries clothes much quicker than old dryer. Metal on outside does not get hot like old dryer. Much more efficient, highly recommend.

I bought this Thursday (a week ago), October 1, 2015. Installed. No heat. Dials do not move! Troubleshoot: blown fuse or circuit breaker (not the problem).

I'm a landlord who bought several of these dryers with matching washers. What is appreciated is the simplicity of use & how quiet this dryer is, as well as fully drying each load of clothes. Thanks GE for another great product.
