Good Dryer

The washer and dryer we have are simple to use and seem reliable and sturdy. I don't need a washer/dryer that looks like a sleek modern sports car or operates like a computer. I need appliances that work. It seems while GE isn't wasting time on designing ergonomically pleasing dryer knobs that they may be spening a little more time on designing a dryer motor that won't burn out in a couple years. My grandmother has a dryer that is a GE...and it's so old it's that nasty rust/brown/orange color but it still works. Thats what I want; in 40 years for my grandkids to look in my laundry room and say, "man, Grandpa has one vintage dryer!" If its well built it'll last.

A solid choice

I bought this when my old dryer died a slow death. Since it was also a GE I was not surprized that this was a good choice. It is not the top of the line but has all the features I wever used on the old one which was.
