Everything we want/need for a reasonable price

We sought out this dryer because of its simple, basic functionality. We didn't want bells and whistles, but judge value based on performance. We've had it a few months now and couldn't be happier with its efficiency and performance.

Lousy lint filter, loud, cheap door

Lint filter is loose...let's tons of lint into the vent and plugs the outside covered/screened vent. Repairman said the running was too long....well then how did the lint get to the exterior of the house??? Drum started making horrible noise after 3 months. Repairman stated no rollers results in bad alignment, loud dryer. Lint covers the entire inside of the door making it almost impossible to remove clothes without covering the clean clothes with. Really regret this purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent quality and features

I hve owned this dryer for several months now and absolutely love it. It dries much quicker than my previous dryer. It is extremely quiet but does have a buzzer if you want a signal when the load is done. The capacity is huge and the interior light is bright.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I didn't realize my old dryer was in such bad shape until I bought this new GE. My clothes don't overheat and they dry so much quicker. Didn't realize I missed an interior light until I got this one. Also, I like the feature of warning buzzer that clothes are ready to take out.
