I was looking for counter depth but I didn't want to compromise on space much and since counter depth don't have large cubic I decided to go with GE because it has lots of space by eliminating ice box and making it compact. And love auto fill

We love our new fridge!

The lights in the fridge are great, it is so bright. The drawers in the freezer are also a great feature. My favorite feature though is that the door beeps when it isn't closed all the way, a must have with 2 kids in the house.

I bought this item and a microwave, and dishwasher, all GE profile. The compressor rattles and the technician stood us up last month. he is supposed to service our refrigerator on Friday this week. Lets e hopeful he arrives.

The first refrigerator delivered had two huge dents in the left side and had to be returned. The second refrigerator was dent free but the ice comes out glistening wet. It melts in the container and clumps together so it does not come out the dispenser at all after a few days. I have to empty out the ice container and wait for it to refill. The water dispenser drips after shutoff; the stainless steel shelf below is ringed with water marks that will not come off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a replacement model, as the one I ordered - which was larger but still counter depth was discontinued. How this happened between the time I ordered and paid for it and accepting delivery is a whole other review. Silliest feature? I can load personal photos to show on the water/ice dispensing screen. I mean seriously. Superb features? Temperature indicators & alarms that let you know when you haven't quite closed a door.
