After a monthththe fan broke. It was replaced and all is good.
I still have my 25 year old GE down in the garage for a spare fridge , so I am a die hard GE fan.

Looks great but looks arent everything.

We needed to replace our previous refrigerator with a similar counterdepth one. This GE Profile looks great and is a little bigger than our previous one so that is a positive. We have not been happy with the performance of this refrigerator however in a number of ways. The fan needed to be replaced in the first few weeks which caused a loss of food. The freezer's performance is terrible in that it causes ice and condensation build up on every item we freeze. You would think spending this kind of money it would work properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this refrigerator for a kitchen remodel and it is absolutely perfect in the location chosen. It was perfect for the cabinetry built to surround it.

The water dispenser is amazing. You can leave a glass there and it fills it while you do something else. It also has a lot of storage for a counter depth fridge...the put in doors/ drawers wherever they can fit and they really help to organize and get a lot in there.

Purchased for new home. Love all the features especially the bell to let me know door is not closed completely. The only con I have is that the refrigerator is noisy when in defrost.
