Because the deli bin is one long bin you have to open both doors to access the content. In contrast, the vegetable/fruit bins are separate and allow for only opening one of the doors.

Looks nice, but that's it. Had it fixed once already and need it fixed again. Entire unit shut down after 5 months and now having issue again with lunch meat freezing in the deli drawer, nothing but a hassle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
