GE products are the BEST!

This refrigerator has met all of our expectations; and, we love the look and ease of use. This replaces our old GE refrigerator which was 42 yrs old (no misprint here). Our other GE appliances are still working. Our new refrigerator is easy to clean and quiet. We think you will fully enjoy this product.

We bought this in anticipation of our kitchen remodel, and it has been installed for several months now. We've been very happy with it so far, and are glad we spent the extra $ to get the counter depth version. I like the French door layout, and love that the 2 top drawers can be opened without opening both doors. Many people have commented about a lot of noise, and that almost swayed me away from purchasing this. SO glad I didn't let that sway me! There is almost NO sound that comes out of this thing! For the first month it was installed, every time I heard a hum, I thought "oh, that's the sound they were talking about"... And every time it ended up being something OTHER than the fridge. I don't have any idea what sounds people are hearing from it.

Buyer beware

I would highly recommend reading everyone's reviews carefully - I read them, and still proceeded with this refrigerator. Here I am a month later, yes 1 month, and we are experiencing a very loud, obnoxious sound and the temperature is having major issues - it cannot keep a constant temperature. I open the door and everything is sweating (like when you have a glass of ice water in room temperature). Our water dispenser has only dispensed cold water on one occasion - at which point I wondered, oh wait - is it supposed to always come out cool? Or room temperature? For the cost of this refrigerator, I am mortified that 30 days later I am having these issues. I have a repair person coming Friday, so fingers crossed its an easy fix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this fridge about a month ago and I love it. Lots of room for everything I need. Temps are very cold in both fridge and freezer. Way better than the fridge that died on me.

Freezer door is hard to slide open.
