I luv this fridge. People complain about the ice maker but dont let that bother you. It is a great appliance. Runs well is gorgeous! ! Never had a problem.

We bought this refrigerator to upgrade the look of our kitchen. The stainless-steel exterior is beautiful. OK, we have to admit the GE wasn't really on our short list but after looking at many brands, the GE had some really nice engineering. The low-profile ice maker is great. It does a great job making ice yet takes up very little of the storage space. The interior lighting is also excellent. The lights project onto the contents, not in your eyes like many of the brands do. They also ramp their brightness up slowly. The auto-fill water dispenser is a much loved and used feature. Place the glass on the platform, push the Auto-Fill button and walk away. When the glass is full, it stops and chimes. The bins, shelves, and freezer section was all well thought out. This model also has a nice touch-panel and menu system. Although we haven't done so, you can load in your favorite pictures and have them show in the display. If there's anything not to like about this refrigerator would be the noise. The fans seem to whine sometimes. It was a lot more noticeable with the refrigerator empty, when new, as we waited for it to cool down before transferring out food over. Once fully loaded, the fans don't seem to bother us as much. If this refrigerator lasts, then we are happy.

Refrgerators Noisy at times and much more so than

I bought the counter depth. I like it but took a little getting used to. I have now organized it so i have just as much room as the regular depth one i had previously.

This fridge was supplied by our builder for our new house. We love it! There is a USB port under the water/ice display and you can upload a slideshow that will play anytime you get water or ice!

The select function of the display was bad when the unit was new.
The display was replaced and the repair guy had to return to fix the ice button that did not work.

Fan Motor Problems

Six months old, fan motor replaced twice. We are currently waiting on our third service call, so disappointed as this is a very expensive refrigerator, also the ice-maker's crush setting does not crush all the ice cubes consistently and it sprays ice all over, even when holding a glass close to opening.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
