Well thought-out design

I mostly bought the fridge because it was a good deal and an attractive counter-depth fridge. Now that it's in my home, I see that there's much more to it. I really appreciate the LED lighting - there's no dark corner for old food to hide in. I like the optional temperature setting on the bottom drawer. The auto-fill water dispensing is fun. My biggest complaints is that it can be difficult to organize tall items in the fridge.

Just delivered this past Saturday, and I think I love it. I gained usable space versus my 26 cu foot side by side. Do wish the deli drawer was split like the vegetable drawers so I don't have to open both doors to get to the lunchmeat. Love the features even the ones I thought I didn't need or want. Would have given 5 stars but the stainless doesn't quite match the stainless on my new GE profile stove or dishwasher. The refrigerator is very shiny while the other two are more of a matte finish

7 Service Calls in 3 Months

The builder supplied our GE Profile with in our new house. The fan has been loud and noisy. We had 4 service calls where they serviced a fan and eventually replaced it. The problem was not resolved. Then two more service calls to replace the compressor. Seems to have resolved the problem, for now. Then we had a 7th call this week as the flap between the French doors wasn't engaging to seal in the cold air.
We appreciate all of GE efforts to fix the problems - just wish we had no problems to fix
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've owned mostly GE appliances throughout my life, but this refrigerator is starting to make me look at other brands. I've owned this refrigerator less than a year and the water tray is very discolored from just water dripping on it. The refrigerator is also much more noisy than the 12 year old GE refrigerator it replaced. I'm disappointed with the quality with GE appliances lately and will probably make the switch the next time I replace my appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am getting used to the cabinet depth... big change from standard depth.
Glass needs to be flush and held high or ice goes all over the floor

Ok but the keurig leaks

We bought this and got rid our Keurig because we thought it would save counter space. Now I wish we had our old keurig because the one one on the refrigerator spits out wanted and leaks all over our floor all of the time! It's very annoying. All of the other aspects of the fridge are great but we got the fridge specifically because of the keurig on it and it doesn't work the way it should. Plus it takes forever to heat up and if you don't use the water the second it hits 100% meaning ready it times out on you and you have to start over again and reheat the water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the call ahead feature

I Love that I can call my fridge to turn on the hot water so when I walk in the kitchen the water is ready for my coffee, as long a I don't get side tracked and it has already shut off. Only complaint is the condensation that freezes around the ice maker door makes is hard to open.
