Considerably loud. First one had to be replaced.

We love the features of this refrigerator, especially the auto fill. But this thing is VERY loud. The first one we bought made an extremely loud knocking noise (at random times) that could be heard from any room in our house. After 3 visits from a GE repair person, it still wasn't fixed. We finally got a replacement offer from GE and they were very gracious to replace it and responsive to the problems we were experiencing so I give them a 10 for support. Our new one doesn't have that horrible knocking sound so it is much quieter, but you have to know that this refrigerator has lots of fans inside for various zones. At random times, one fan or the other will fire up and you can definitely hear them if you are in the kitchen (or even in an adjacent room). It is tolerable, but far from quiet. Our previous refrigerator was also a GE profile and we loved it for over 17 years and rarely heard any noise from it. I guess as technology progresses for refrigerators, so does the noise. :-(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yes, yes you can. Stunning good looks and features that make daily chores a breeze. From uploading photo slide show to filtering water, my new frig has become the focal point of my new kitchen. The in-door water dispenser/control panel is fabulous.

Noisy fridge

I upgraded my refrigerator when I moved into a brand new community. Within two months the refrigerator was making noise and ice was starting to on the food in the refrigerator. I called the repair service and a motor had to be replaced. Approximately 3 weeks later the water dispenser broke and a part had to be replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this 'fridge

No real noticeable lack of interior space due to its being counter depth. Wish the ice maker had a larger reserve and could make ice faster. Drip tray shelf under ice/water has water marks that I can't remove. Don't like the fact that every finger print shows on the stainless steel doors

A bit dissapointing

It is a beautiful refrigerator but a little disappointing. We have found issues with the sensors that control temperature. We already had Technicians out twice. One time they replaced the sensor module. The second time we were told not to block the top vents. Basically we could not use the full top shelf because of the design. We also have problems with the ice cubes. They are very small and constantly clog the dispenser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
