Features make this frig perfect for our life-style

We needed a compact but full featured refrigerator for our new home and the GE Profile Series with 22 cubic feet fit the style and space of our kitchen. The freezer drawer makes keeping frozen good that way and the double doors keep the kitchen area most available. Shelving and storage could be a bit more convenience designed but the adaptability is helpful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good looking appliance!

We bought this to replace another counter depth side by side GE refrigerator. We like the appearance of the kitchen with a counter depth one, however one has to give up cubic space. We are disappointed in the size of the ice cube bin compared to our older one but the water/ice section is so much better.

water dispenser performance

This is our 2nd Profile, our first one was a lemon as the computer system went out on us. This 2nd one seems fine, but the water dispenser Auto-Refill Sensor is very inconsistent and does not fill up the glass past half way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This fridge is so loud! While I like the design and features we may be returning this because it is super loud and noisy. With an open concept house you do not want to hear your appliances while you watch tv.

Huge Upgrade from last GE Profile

Have had this refrigerator for about a over a month now, and it has been a huge improvement and upgrade. The screen was not the biggest selling point for us, but it has been great for use when teaching kids size, metrics (ounces you are filled cup and drinking). The auto fill has been used often. LED lighting inside a huge eye-opener, literally.
The recommended temperature setting were a bit too low and made the adjustments.
Plentiful freezer space. I do like the solid plastic 'bucket' style verses the others we saw with wire baskets. That was a must as we didn't think the wire baskets were a good idea with frozen goods.
Not a lot of ice if you may use a lot - will need to build up a tray in the freezer if you think you will need a lot of ice for a party.
Compressor/Motor a bit loud at times. Last refrigerator came with the house when we bought it, and it too, was a GE Profile. It was actually quieter (when it was running well) than this newer product.
Very good looking on outside too.
