Attractive appearance

Installed less than a month ago, went with the counter depth and it has a smaller interior than I imagined. The icemaker in the door does make it difficult in reaching on the left side. Door thickness is wide and it does take away the extra door space. It does keep things very cold. I like the water and ice dispenser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Research suggested GE was one of the more reliable french door refrigeraters, and we love the auto fill and precise fill features. Build quality is excellent; everything from the handles to the buttons to the shelves feels high quality.

We love this French Door/Freezer on the Bottom. Wish I could have had one all my life...It is so roomy and convenient! Love the Ice and Automatic water filler...in the door! The Water tray holds my coffee pot!

Outstanding Product Quality and Consumer Relations

This is a bit strange. In August 2014, we purchased four GE Profile appliances for our newly remodeled kitchen. We had a problem with the refrigerator and contacted GE. To our surprise, GE replaced the refrigerator with a newer model. Special thanks to the Consumer Relations department and our "case" manager Susan. We could NOT be more pleased with the product quality and service provided by GE!!

Best use of space in a counter depth refrigerator.

Have had our new refrigerator for about 3 weeks and am enjoying the additional space as compared to my old counter depth refrigerator. It's quiet too.

Water dispenser drips.

I would give this an excellent rating however the water dispenser drips. We have had four service calls of which three calls involved parts replacement. We have a fifth service call next week.

Somewhat disappointed

I'm a bit disappointed with the ice maker of this brand new refrigerator. When dispensing ice cubes, it often gets stuck, and no ice will dispense. Also, the ice maker does not hold or produce much ice. Recently had a dinner party for 10, and after filling the water glasses with ice, there was nothing left.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
