Love the french doors

I have only had this a short time and was hesitant about the french door style of refrigerator, but I absolutely love it. It is so well lit and easy to see and find what I need in the refrigerator section. I was worried that the freezer space wouldn't be big enough, but that is not the case. It is very easy to get what I need out of the freezer. The only drawback I have is with the icemaker/ water dispenser dripping water a little after you use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Likes: Looks good, stainless surface is the easiest I've had to clean, refrigerator is spacious, easy to organize, like the ice maker in the door, the auto fill is great as well as the little pull out shelf to auto fill large containers. There appears to be even temperature throughout the refrigerator. It is made in USA and comes with a nice thank you card from the folks in Louisville.

Dislikes: the shape of the ice maker chute is like the broad side of a barn and the cup is small and circular, this allows ice to make a mess everywhere, the ice sticks to the chute and then melts and drips down and leaves a puddle. The freezer should be smoother in action to open. This is the noisiest refrigerator I have owned. While not supper loud, it is not desirable.

I bought this fridge to replace an older 4 door GR Profile. Looked at other completion models and this had the lowest profile ice maker in the door and gave us more shelf space.
Sad GE does not have the 4 door model any more. Should have waited a few months (If I could) to get the new 2015 Internet connected model :(

Easy, convenient, and sophisticated

This fridge is great value for the money. It will sense the size of your cup or bottle and automatically fill it without a single spill. It also allows for precise filling if you want to indicate exactly how much water you want - for example, you can specify to fill your glass with exactly 4oz and it will. Ice, both cubed and crush, come to the door. The easy-to-read display has great animated graphics and enables setting of temperature and other settings right from the door. Easy to remove ice tray and plenty of space in the fridge. The freezer is plenty adequate, but may be a bit challenging to organize since it is a drawer and doesn't have a lot of compartments or shelves. If you have a lot of frozen food, organizing the freezer could be a challenge. The fridge is extremely organized, lots of shelves and places for everything.
I would recommend this to a friend!
