Problems

Same as what others mentioned, fan failed after 3 years, keep dripping water on the floor due to drainage pipe blockage, we have to pull the Fridge every year and clean the pipe and install it again. Now after 6 years I see water on the floor again despite the back drainage pipe that I clean yearly being clean! I don't know this time what's the cause of the water on the floor! Would love to trade it in for a new Fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Design and Great Features

The GE Profile Refrigerator looks great in my gourmet kitchen along with my other GE profile appliances. The refrigerator shelving can adjust to fit all of my produce and goods. I like the color lighting in the crisper drawer - every time I open the door I know exactly what temperature the drawer had been set. I also enjoy not having to open the freezer to get ice and like the filtered water feature right on the door.

Wow what a lot of space

Just installed look at all the various French Door Refig. it was down to Kitchen Aid and the GE the winner was the GE main reason was Ice unit In the door so you did not lose any space inside the unit, like the Kitchen AId. So far the unit is Great!!

After months of research i decided on this Fridge. Been about 1 month and everyday I look at it, I am so happy with my decision. Looks awesome, super features and well worth the money.

Stylish counter depth model

We like the interior and exterior design and decided on this model after considering the features we needed and our specific space measurements. We loved using it, unfortunately the cooling for refrigerator portion stopped working in the first month. We didn't expect it to go out so soon. Ge service came in and replaced the fan motor. Not sure if this model has a defect. We also hear a sound like telephone ringing when the refrigerator motor/compressor comes on. The sound is light enough to not be bothered but can be heard. We are ge profile appliance for over a decade.

Good fridge but had some issues after the purchase

We are only 2-3 months in and while we like the fridge, one of the fans broke / stopped working on week 4. Disaster because then the fridge wouldn't stay cold (only to about 50). The freezer continued to work. The worst part was that it took 2 weeks to get it repaired correctly.

Sweet refrigerator

This fridge is great and fit great in the counter depth. It looks clean and functions very well. It was cold very quick after install. Only drawback to not give 5-star is the drinking water dispenser drips a few drops after every use. This is a known issue and they recommend to leave your glass under the dispenser for a second to catch the drops. Also the freezer door slides a little unbalanced. Also very minor, but the door is not magnetic, thought a stainless steel refrigerator would have this ability, but that is very minor, thought i would mention.
Overall this refrigerator looks great, fits well, and is a very nice statement piece.
I would recommend this to a friend!
