We noticed that this refrigerator model was particularly noisy. We do like that there are multiple convenience features.

Beautiful Fridge

Just installed the refrigerator yesterday. The French Door Style is easy to access everything. I love the feature that shows number of oz of water dispensed. It's a very beautiful appliances as well.

We've had our new fridge for a few months and we love it. The auto-fill feature is useful and the pictures are changed regularly on the display. Coming from a side-by-side, to the freezer on the bottom is the best move we've made.

Fine refrigerator with in the price range

I just had this delivered and am happy so far. We downsized from a 29 Cubic Foot monster to this counter depth model. I am pleased with the internal lay out, there is more usable and accessible space than I had expected, the same with the freezer.

We just bought this refrigerator and you can tell that GE put quality parts in this machine. While we just received this refrigerator today, I know it will last! I am also grateful to know that our purchase helped fellow Americans in Kentucky! Plus I love all the high tech features! I didn't even know about the changing LED lights with the extra storage bin!

Great Counter Depth Fridge

We had been looking for a new fridge for a few years. We had a French Door since we purchased the house 10 years ago and it was spotty (not a GE). The biggest issue with it was the size since it stood out like a whale on a beach as well as the ice and water being inside the fridge. We looked at going with a custom built in like a Sub-Zero but the prices were outrageous. Then we heard about the GE counter depth and found out that several manufacturers have them. We shopped a very reputable store that had many different counter depth lines and the GE Profile was the best for us from a perspective of matching the other appliances we had. Also, it had the features we wanted, especially the counter depth, French Doors and the water and ice on the outside. We could not be happier with this fridge. It looks awesome (stainless is high quality that does not show smudges like our old fridge), the water and ice maker work perfectly and have very neat features such as auto fill as well as a built in video showing how to use it. The controls are easy to use (electronic but not overly complex). It is very easy to set up and to get working. The only downside is the size but that is what you get with a counter depth --- you gain the look of a custom built in fridge but you love some capacity. However, GE has done a great job in organizing this fridge so that you can get the absolute most out of the space. And best of all this product is USA made. This is our second GE Profile appliance that we have replaced existing appliances with and we could not be any more happier with them.

This brand new fridge came with our freshly built house, but it is kind of junky. The GE nameplate looks rusty and is peeling off. There is weird Styrofoam gunk all along the inside edges of the doors that makes it appear like it is rotting. Although it is big in width, the depth is way to small. We can barely fit a pizza box in it. Plus the water/ice dispenser takes up a lot of room so there are no door shelves on the left side. The size problems extend to the bottom freezer which is barely large enough to hold the essentials like ice cream and french fries. We lived in a townhouse that had a tiny side by side fridge/freezer that held more than this thing. And the craftsmanship flaws are not something I would expect from GE. We will be replacing this fridge when we manage to save up enough for a good one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
