I"m told I need a new Damper Motor and Fan Motor. I can't find the right part number to buy. Does anyone know?

Refrigerator is loud, and will freeze your food in the fridge while the freezer thaws them.
Stay away!!

Internal fan died AGAIN!

Had to have the ‘fresh food’ fan replaced under warranty after all our food froze. We’ll, it just started happening AGAIN. Will call to see if they will honor the service I had to partially pay for last time.

Have had several service calls, food in the fridge freezes. Gave the temp set at 42 degrees, just had to throw away a head of lettuce we bought yesterday.

Hello- We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the issues you are having. This is definitely not what we would expect to hear and are sorry for the issues you are having. We know how frustrating it is when you have to throw away your food. Sometimes, when placing large items or hot/warm food next to the thermister can block the airflow to the thermister which gives it false air temperature. This can cause food to freeze especially on the top refrigerator shelf.

The thermister is typically located on the top left side of the refrigerator cabinet. It looks like a dome shaped plastic capsule with slats on it. Moving those items 6 inches away from the thermister should improve temperature consistency. We will be reaching out to you via email to get a little more information. Worst refrigerator you can buy, repair every year

One of worst refrigerator I have ever dealt with. Builder provided this as upgrade French Door refrigerator in our community. Every one, I mean every refrigerator failed after 1st year, and keep repeating every 2 years. The evaporator fan fails as this is on a timer, despite OE parts and even new version of it, does not matter it fails. Several also had Condensor fan failures. Also drain is blocked for pretty much most causing the defrost water accumulated and formed ice in the top section. Its a repeat. I don't understand how GE could release something so problematic and not doing anything to remedy the situation.

Not Worth the Purchase

We purchased this refrigerator with great expectations; however, we have never had the opportunity to use the special features due to filtration issues. This is the first refrigerator we have purchased with water and ice capabilities of which we have never been able to use even after conducting a service call. The filtration for the water is non- existent. After the repair man drained, replaced filters and hoses for the entire system, we attempted to drink clean water and were sorely disappointed. The water contained bits and pieces of trash once again. Not even 30 minutes after a service call and ever since. We now only use the refrigerator for cooling. Not to mention the innumerable amount of pieces of plastic which fall in the ice maker. We had the refrigerator. It even three years and could not fully enjoy the features which led us to the purchase. Sad to say, this has deterred us from buying another refrigerator with an ice maker or water filter again. We are going back to an old school refrigerator.

Love the look

I got this fridge because my other counter depth was a side by side and I thought I would get a lot more useable space with this french door design. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The produce bins are very small. Also, the water dispenser always drips and it also is much louder than my previous fridge. Ice maker is very small which would be ok if it came with a bin in the freezer section to store extra ice, but it doesn't.
