Worst Refrigerator ever

If you enjoy a fridge that requires a new water filter every few weeks. Where each filter costs 60 dollars. Where the water and ice stop working until you replace it . When you replace it, it still doesn’t work/ where the the water and ice don’t work unless you push your finger in the light button. Where the freezer handle falls off repeatedly. Where your food freezes. Where your food has condensation on everything a day later. Where the circuit board malfunctions. Where everyone in the family expresses their hate for a refrigerator, then this is the fridge for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unexplained leaking of water into the fridge.

I’m having issues with water accumulation in the bottom tray of the refrigerator and in the bottom tray of the freezer.

GE hates u

Like most GE products, the overall quality is lacking. They mass-produce mediocrity and back it up with spotty service. Kinda crappy product plus kinda crappy service equals about what you’d expect. Water dispenser crapped out after 4 years. Repair cost a little bit less than a new fridge. Loud, rattling compressor at 6years. Best plan: but the cheapest model that fits your needs and expect it’ll last 5yrs. GE could care less. i would bet most manufacturers are based outside the US and (like GE) could care less whether the junk they sell to lowe’s/home dept/other works at all.

It's ok but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we have liked our refrigerator. It did have to have warranty work done when a fan died and it didn't keep the refrigerator part evenly cold. The majority concern has been that ice builds up in the bottom then we end up with water on the floor. I have to take the trays out of the freezer, break up and remove the ice every 2-3 weeks to keep the leaking from happening. Not as efficient as we had hoped

Off Gassing Makes Unusable

I have tried everything, including multiple tech visits and he can only conclude that t product is leaking or cracked somewhere that is undetectable. The off gassing permeates every thin in my fridge that's not wrapped in plastic. Ice is unusable due to odor of gas. I am forced to replace and will never ever buy a GE product.
