Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

I've had this for several months now & love how it looks & how quiet it is. The only thing I don't like is the bottom basket freezer; I preferred the shelving configuration in the bottom freezers I've had before.

Good storage for size

Pros - clean look, nice storage in door and moveable shelves
Cons - top drawer in freezer doesn't pull out very far making it difficult to see what is in the drawer.

Very happy with bottom freezer

I don't really want my review published. I like the product so far. The biggest influence in choosing this product was the salesperson TOLD me that GE was built entirely in the United States.

Very good features, incomplete installation manual

Unit just delivered today. We like features and price was good. Manual was very much lacking in how to connect water for icemaker: nowhere did it say that the entire bottom rear panel had to be removed to access the water fitting. A simple sticker on that panel would have been adequate. Had I not read the manual to know to look for the icemaker power switch, I'd have missed that the switch was taped in the "on" position. I had to remove the freezer drawer to get at the icemaker switch and then needed 2 people to help me get the drawer back into its rails. That wasn't fun. Our unit has only been running for 90 minutes so far. We'll see how it does.

Excellent Configuration

Very easy to use and energy efficient. The internal arrangement of shelves and compartments is natural, and there is a lot of capacity for food storage.

Love the ice maker.
Wished it had a built in egg rack.
By design the light on the top should be placed in back of refrigerator - for more space.
The freezer on the bottom should have shelves.
Overall, it was a good purchase.
