Could be better

GE does not make a 30" model in the Profile series any more so this fridge is lacking very useful features of my previous 30" Profile model. Freezer basket is much smaller even though there is plenty room for a larger basket and a drawer.
Deli drawer is smaller Plus there is no egg basket. Fridge makes lots of noises from
the ice maker and the compressor. Lights could be brighter

Not as good as replaced 10 yr old GE profile

I bought this to replace a similar 10 yr old GE Profile model which broke. Am very disappointed there is no temperature display on this model and freezer configuration is awkward. Very bad decision by GE to eliminate temperature display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible freezer area design

Overall a fridge is a fridge. The refrigerator area is fine - plenty of shelf space and plenty of door shelf space.
The freezer compartment however us poorly designed. Simply one big compartment where items must be piled on top of each other. Can never find what you are looking for and things end up a mess. No organization possible.

Problems after 5 years - NO MORE GE Appliances...

First - the coils (bottom/back) of frig need to cleaned every 6 months or it starts running more often and has a harder time keeping stuff cold. Then just over the 5 years (really???) the fridge, (freezer) is OK, will not keep stuff cold - temps won't stay below 50 degrees! Service guy says needs a new circuit board that controls auto defrost feature - great. Been w/o a working frig for going over 2 weeks as it is hard to get parts..... What a "wonderful" appliance...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOVE IT

We bought this on 9/24/14 in stainless steel. It is so nice,roomy, and easy to clean. The only thing is we didn't get the ice maker and it don't come with ice cube trays, and can not find them because it don't take reg ice cube trays. We are going to try to cut reg ice cube trays to fit in our freezer. It is like 1 ice cube to big across other then that is is nice. I would tell everyone to buy this one. LOVE IT

Not small by any means, but compared to most fridges nowadays, this was the perfect fit for our galley sized kitchen! Sleek and elegant with a lot of room for cold storage. Very happy all around with this product.
