My main monitor for several years has been a 30" Samsung. I had it repaired once under warranty after almost three years and was happy with Samsung's service. When it started to get old, I looked to Samsung first for a replacement. They haven't had a 30 inch model since my old monitor . . . until now. A 32", business class monitor sounded good.
And it is good. Very, very good. Best stand I've ever seen. Raises and lowers with buttery smoothness. Rotates. Controls on the front where they are easy to see and use. Four USB outlets. Every current video input available. And the picture is superb. Photography is a hobby and this monitor is so color accurate that it's a joy. Pixel size makes it oh so crisp and clear. Zero dead pixels. No light bleed. Fast shipping by Samsung. Incredible value for the money.
I'd recommend this monitor for anyone.

Picture quality is fantastic, Not a single dead pixel
The 32" WQHD resolution combination is an excellent choice for a desktop monitor. Plenty of desktop space for multi-tasking. The display is bright and vivid. The stand is sturdy and attractive.

monitor blinks

I bought this with high expectations only to return the first one due to blinking. I tried different cables, nothing seemed to fix it. Now, the second one does the same thing, a random blink where the screen goes black for about a second, happening anywhere from every 20 seconds to once every few days. I've read online that this is an issue for Samsung monitors, so beware unless you like returning items and waiting on hold for support.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, blinking
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This monitor looks gorgeous and has great resolution. It will rotate from portrait to landscape mode and I love the split screen capability.

Pleasant-To-Use (But the Manual is Inadequate)

I bought this monitor to replace two old 23" monitors I had been using stacked vertically. My hope was to use the new monitor in portrait mode to display the same two images, still stacked, because my desk is quite small. Sadly this didn't work out as the new monitor's width didn't quite match my needs. Definitely not Samsung's problem, just a miscalculation on my part.
The real problem I had was that the manual, such as it is, is vague about almost everything where everything seems to have a caveat about what is or is not included and what is supposed to work in any given market or product variation. On top of that, trying use the PBP (picture-by-picture) mode is woefully under-described and the possibility of using it it portrait mode seems to be completely ignored. Same thing with trying to use a speaker feed over one of the digital video inputs (the monitor has no analog video inputs) is not adequately described. I never did get the audio working but, since I still have my old Logitech speakers, that was no great loss.
I finally gave up on trying to use the portrait mode and worked around my old habits and have been satisfied with the image quality and size of the monitor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Gamers beware! It flickers during Game mode in 1440p!

I am currently running I7 5960x with GTX 970 Sli. When playing Video games in 1440p with Game mode on this monitor flickers! Not satisfy with the performance of this monitor.
Also, when I watch 4k videos on youtube the screen starts to flicker as well.
I've seen reviews of this computer same issue with copious amount of people.
Pros: modern look, its great when not gaming
Cons: Did not meet expectations, flickering during games
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Haven't had it long but this is the second Samsung monitor I have purchased and they have been GREAT they work and the value is top notch
