Very Happy

We saw this on sale as a floor model. We've wanted to replace our old side-by-side for a long time, but it just won't quit! The great price was the incentive we needed. The old fridge is now in the utility room stocked with extra party beverages.
This model looks great, is super convenient, quiet & energy efficient. I especially appreciate the accurate temperature controls.
When we got it home, the LED display had a few dim segments and the ice maker tray didn't always return to the home position after dumping. A simple message to LG is all it took to get these two parts replaced under warranty.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, product support

Exactly what we wanted

We've had the refrigerator for a couple of months now, and have no complaints. Lots of room, great temperature control. The space saving icemaker is great. If I could change one thing, I'd divide the wide deli tray into two halves so that you don't have to open both French doors to get at it.

My first review was rejected.
My ice maker has had pieces break off and fall into my drinking glass. The coating/plastic on the control panel is bubbling up and peeling. The ice maker does not have a capacity that meets our needs.

This refrigerator has performed well for 3 years.
Only small issue is that the gaskets on the doors tore after 6 months. Not a big issue. Very happy with it.

Owned for about a month. Not as nice after you plug it in. Ice maker noisy. Hard to open freezer drawer without pulling the whole unit forward. Must open both refrigerator doors to use produce drawer.

sacrifice functionality for looks

As a fridge, it is attractive and quite. The ice maker makes enough ice for about 6 people and takes hours to refill. The door mullion(divider) has broke twice without abuse in only 13 months. I miss my side by side. Mechanically sound, but lacking in other qualities. Not for big families.

Wonderful Fridge

I absolutely love this Fridge. There is so much space and it does a wonderful job keeping everything cold. We especially like the slim space ice maker which frees up so much room in our fridge. The only thing I would mention is that we noticed the ice tends to get stuck together on occasion and we need to open it up and knock it apart. Not a major inconvenience though.

Hate the finish

We purchased all stainless steel appliances, the refrigerator, dishwasher,stove and microrowave. I loved the look of the appliances. I cannot get them clean. I have had it. The runs from spills, water and so on will not come off, i have thought about ordering a whole new bottom drawer for my refrigerator, this is crazy . I think i have had the fridge for maybe a year. I have tried and tried to get the runs to come out and with no luck, if you the market for new appliances i do not reccomend stainless steel.If anyone knows how to get the runs out please let me know. Thank you!!
