Best fridge we've ever owned

We shopped for a long time before choosing this refrigerator. We especially like the interior space and design in the compact package. The icemaker in the door is the feature my wife likes the most. The smaller capacity is fine with us - we didn't use the full capacity of our old one. The fact that the ice cubes occasionally stick together in the tray is irritating but a very minor irritation.
You would have a hard time going wrong with this appliance.

I waited for 3 months to buy just the right refrigerator, and this was it. had all the features I wanted There is so much room in the french door, it always is easy to find just what I wanted

We have been very happy with this refrigerator. It has a ton of space inside and we love the freezer on the bottom. The only problem we've had, that's not really a problem, is occasionally, we have to empty out the ice cube maker because ice cubes get stuck or melted together and they won't come out the dispenser. Otherwise, we like the size of the ice cubes and how easy it is to get water. The kids can do it by themselves!
Pros: easy to use

We just love all LG products.A year ago we built a new home with that being said,needed all new applainces. My wife liked the blue light in the off brand refrigerator.(6months 2 differnt refrigerators 7 tech. trips to our home) It was back to the store to pick out our new LG LFX28978ST.Great space inside, love the bottom freezer.Love the water/ice dispenser.What a great selection this was. We will never buy another off brand applaince again, stray away from the best and you'll pay. For years, just about every room in our home has had a LG product in it. No problems ever.I forgot there were service techs out there,really.

Best ever refrigerator

This refrigerator is only an inch bigger than my previous one, but it holds so much more. This must be related to the internal design & the location of the ice bucket. The amount of ice is perfect-we actually do not use that much ice. The only problem we have is related to our infrequent use of the ice. The ice gets stuck periodically and needs a little shake of the container to enable the cubes to flow.
I have an extra refrigerator in the basement which I no longer need to use because the capacity of this one is larger than my previous one. I love the drawers & the way they are divided so veggies & fruits can be sorted. I also love the little shelf that pushes in to accommodate larger articles. We've had the refrigerator a month & so far no complaints.

We really like the look of this refrigerator. I didn't think I would like the 3-door but actually find it great to use. The only downfall is the ice capacity-our family of 5 find it out quite often. We do try to put ice in the extra freezer bin then we can use that for crushed if that is what we want. After not having an ice maker for so long, this is better than none. Love all the drawers it offers and has lots of room.

New Refrig

I am impressed this new refrig does not require regular maintance to clean/vacuum lint/dust from the fins under the refrig versus other brands. I inquired from LG about this feature as there is nothing in the manual about this maintenance.
The filter is easy to remove and replace and the water is noticeably better tasting than my previous refrig.
I like how the smaller freezer drawer automatically pulls out instead of investing in a separate drawer. All items in the freezer are easily accessible.
