I bought this refrigerator many years ago and have had very few issues with it. The ice maker had an issue but it was an easy fix and I have not had a problem with it again. Recently the refrigerator portion of the refrigerator was not cooling as it should and we are still hoping to find the duct assembly part that is needed to replace it so I can still use the refrigerator. The freezer and the ice maker have no problems. Unfortunately, the duct assembly is made smaller now with a different connector and since the refrigerator is older, it is difficult to find. I am not giving up hope because it is a very good and spacious refrigerator. I think it has many more years of life.

Has been a great refrigerator. In 12 years the only break has been a small plastic mount that controls the ice flap broke. We have considered buying a new one, but nothing compares to the overall design of this unit. Just works!

When the refrigerator was delivered I noticed the plastic on the edge of the left and right doors were torn on both sides and was told by the delivery persons it would fall off and not to worry. This is my first home and I had no clue. Anyway, It never fell off and I found out they are called Gaskets and were damaged with delivery. I now have to purchase 2 gaskets. I bought this unit 5 months ago and am very pleased with it. Since we have the craft ice we find that we rarely use the ice from the door. The unit is very smart and tells me that the ice hasn’t been used in 7 days and to throw it out and start over. It’s always correct as the ice has now formed into one big block because the door is usually left open too long when loading groceries. Our fault. It maintains the temperature as we have set it and the surface doesn’t show fingerprints. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
