[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this unit 9 years and it has served us exceedingly well. It is spacious, both in the refrigerated area and the freezer. Our only problem has been that the outer shell of the left side door has, now on two occasions begun to seriously rust. LG has generously agreed to defray a portion of the replacement which we are happy about. We were told our year of manufacture was the last year those materials were used so future units should not experience this problem. Based on that information if we ever need another refrigerator LG will be the first brand we will consider.

10 yrs old now. two early failures of the ice maker, one under extended service plan needed 2 trips as tech brought wrong part, unit was down almost 30 days when the compressor went out- did not enjoy living out of coolers, another ice maker failure, (at average 3 yr life, time for ice maker to crash again) recent failure of door mullion spring

Got sold on arrangement of adjustable shelves, easy to clean, drawer in drawer freezer, Ice and water dispenser. Very disappointing is/was 3 failures of the ice maker, average life about 3 years, about time to fail again. Almost took the unit to the dump when it took 30 days and MANY phone calls to get the compressor replaced ( under warranty)
