Beautiful Fridge!

I've had this fridge for almost 3 years. So far its been a good fridge for the most part. No problems with keeping food nice and cold. Nice features on control panel. So far the bins inside my fridge have all but two broken. Had them replaced.. So I'm not happy about the durability of these bins. The door to the butter compartment broke too. One blade from the ice maker just fell out from the fridge...... just fell out. Beautifully lit with LED lights. Very spacious. Overall, its a great fridge except for the durability of the bins and that one blade that fell out.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, Features/Settings

Cheap shelves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this product for 4 years and I have to say I'm very disappointed in the quality of the drawers and shelves. The plastic in these components are low quality and thin. For the money of this appliance it should be built better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased appliance Nov 2011. Compressor failed/replaced within 2 yrs. Now that compressor has to be replace within 3 years. Not good for a LG product. Replacing 2 compressors within 5 years is unacceptable.

Beautiful Fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this fridge for over 3 years. I have not had any problems with performance. It cools efficiently, has a lot of space and it looks beautiful in my kitchen. Only thing I am not happy with is the bins on the door break easily. I only have two that aren't broken. Also the freezer bin on the bottom needs more dividers or something to better organize the food in there and that one broke easily too, I have yet to replace the bins.

Nice, but could be designed better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking, easy to use. Ice maker constantly jams up, the door seal in the center breaks down quickly, occasionally things in the fridge drawers just get frozen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started having major issues with water leaking, defrosting, loss of food 3/2011. Put in new coils and compressor. Still had problems. Lost a lot of food. Just bought a new LG because I really like LG and think this was just a fluke.

Ultra quiet !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually use Google for reviews, however, recently purchased a couple of additional LG products and noticed that I could give a review to some past purchases.....
Have had this refrigerator about 4 years now and we couldn't say enough positives about it. The most troublesome feature is the sixth month filter reminder / change. Not that big of a deal, if you don't want to change it out, just reset the counter for another six months. The refrigerator has been flawless. What we like the most actually is that you can't even hear it running. Must be the "linear" compressor. Would certainly recommend this product. It looks like "LG" has the appliance line really dialed in because without even noticing it, we have four large appliances in the last four years and they all are "LG" and we weren't even looking for LG specifically.
