This Fridge Is The Best!

Have had this refrigerator for 11 months now and love it more now than we did the first day it was delivered. When family and friends come over, they always say that they wish that they had a refrigerator like ours. It holds way more than we need. The deli drawer, vegetable and bread bins keep food fresh three times longer than any other fridge that we have owned. It's also quiet and the color of the stainless steel is the best I've seen versus the other manufacturers.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, the bomb!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only reason I can't give it an excellent rating is because the ice dispenser clogs up every now and then and then you have to open the door and break the ice loose with a wooden spatula.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Features/Settings, Quality

Great Frig. So-So ice maker

In general, this refrigerator is superb. The amount of room and accessibility is top notch. I love the wide "pizza drawer" at the bottom. I keep all my breads in there.
Now...as to the ice maker. It is small since it's in the door so if I am having a party I have to empty it into the freezer tray or into a bag and make another batch. The biggest problem is this; when it is making ice it puts out so much cool air that it will freeze things in the adjacent vegetable bin!! I had to move my fruits and veggies to the opposite side and put only cheese in the drawer on the ice make side of the frig. A real design flaw.
Otherwise, this is a fabulous frig and I wouldn't trade it for any other.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago. My only complaint is with the ice maker. The ice tray continually gets off sync (from week 1) and eventually ends up, top side down. Then when it tries to fill the tray, the water builds up in the ice chute and freezes everything shut. When I reclock the ice tray, it works fine for a period of time then gets off sync again. Another problem, likely related to the sync issue is that it doesn't always break up the cubes. So I end up with a mass of cubes that will not dispense because the mass is blocking the chute and it cannot break it up with the dispensing tines. Other than that, this is a great product. It would be great if LG would redesign the ice maker and (at least) offer me an improved version at a reduced price.

Dream Come True

This thing speaks for itself. Plenty of space. Love the LED lights inside. You can only get two jugs of milk in the side of door. Not four. But with all the space, that dose not matter. We just put other stuff there. Did I mention the ice maker? It is great. Everybody should have one. The slide out freezer door is awesome. You can practically see everything in the freezer. Including you very own bucket of ice, made with your own ice maker. Overall has been a great buy.

Horrible purchase

I bought this 9/6/2010 and the compressor failed in the first year. Over the past 5 years we've had our home warranty repair this fridge, with certified LG repairmen, at least twice a year; 4 compressors, motherboard, front panel, ice machine, you name it. Will never by LG again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had for 3 years... nothing but recurrent problem with ice -maker. Had 3 NEW ice makers installed.. still was not working correctly... then the hold refrigerator DIED!!
thanks heaven for extended warranty.. Paper work and repairs it took 24 days to get replaced.. I hope that it is only with this model...have another LG and have no problems.

We've had the product for a few years now and it has performed well, but one week after the warranty expired part of the LED display stopped working.
