Not a top choice

I have been purchasing LG products for a number of years now and have to say that I am not impressed with this one. A lot of the parts seem to be cheaply made and do not hold up. I have had this refrigerator for about 2 years now and the 2 of the gallon storage bins broke where the clear plastic meets the white. The water filter is extremely expensive for what you get out of it. Not sure if I will go the LG route again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful and efficient

Pros:
I absolutely love this model. It's beautiful, efficient and very quiet. I also love the LED lighting, it's so crisp. I have so much more room in this refrigerator (and freezer) than I did with my side-by-side of the same size. The only feature I'm not hugely impressed with is the indoor water spout. You have to make sure your glass is sitting at the very edge of the base holder so you don't get water all over the floor. It's not so bad that I'd list this as a con. Just beware.
Cons:
There is only one con but it's VERY important. The assembled width was incorrectly stated as being 35.75". The width is actually 36". You might not think .25" is a big deal but it truly is when you have a 36" opening to work with. I had to perform a bit of cabinetry sanding in order to fit this into my opening. I reached out to LG customer service and hopefully they will change this flaw in their technical details.

Very good product, just a few annoying things

For the most part I love my Fridge! Plenty of storage, however, a few things bug me about it. First off if you when closing the doors the left door sometimes does not hook into the slot at top. This has caused the door to remain open a few times longer than intended. It also makes and awful clunking noise sometimes when this happens. Second, what I thought was an egg tray on the top right door doesn't fit a standard carton of eggs. The sliding removable shelfs are great, except the bar that goes horizontal across the shelf (assuming for support) gets in the way when trying to put large beverage containers in. Other than that love it!

Very roomy

So far I love this refrigerator. It is very roomy and I love the sliding shelves. We have already had spills so I can tell you that this makes it much easier to clean. There is a lot of room to organize your food and actually be able to see what you have in there. I read a lot about the ice machine not making enough ice or getting clogged up. I have not had this problem. I do use the ice machine at least once a day though. I researched refrigerators for months and I was still unsure when I purchased this one but I have been very happy with it.

Love my NEW LG Refrigerator

I have loved every feature of my new LG Refrigerator. Prior to purchasing the refrigerator, I read reviews concerning problems with the ice maker, we have had not problems with the ice maker as long as we empty the ice cube storage box when it gets full. My drinks are cold but not frozen! I have space for everything including Christmas Dinner leftovers. This refrigerator is the BEST!
