great fridge!

we've had our fridge for a little over a month and it is wonderful! it's so spacious and the in-door ice maker takes up less space than models with components in the actual fridge.
the lighting inside is really bright, so you can see everything without shuffling all of your food around.
the large tray is great for holding trays and longer containers.

I have had my regrigerater for a year now, still absolutely love it!!!! Lots of room, beautiful, efficient,love the inside lighting and adjustable shelves. The only complaint is the water dispenser. It leaks after you fill a glass or pitcher, drips for a few minutes, very messy sometimes, LG can improve that feature, overall, excellant and would buy it again! I have recommended it to others too. Also love the slim ice maker in the door, one of its BEST selling features, no clunky ice maker taking up space in the indise of the refrigerater.

Love the features and layout!

We especially love the layout of this refrigerator and freezer. They both allow for great organization of food, and we're able to store so much more than in our former French-door refrigerator (another brand). We agree with the reviews that reflect the fact that the ice and water dispensers are rather unusual, and guests often "water the floor." We would also have liked a readout of the actual refrigerator and freezer temperatures...but inexpensive refrigerator/freezer thermometers handle that just fine. Everything considered, we are very pleased with our purchase.

I initially had problems w/ the door flap sticking and the water & ice dispensers but after they were greased & adjusted it's perfect!

we are really impressed with the freshness maintained on the vegetables and fruit. one thing we would like to have are slightly larger ice cubes.

Great French Door Refrigerator

All the features (from the dual ice makers, to the LED lights to the storage bins with temperature controls) are great and enjoyed by my wife. The only area we were disappointed in was the gallon storage in the right door. You can only use one of the gallon shelves if you want to take gallon contaiiners in and out easily. So we are putting extra milk, iced tea and soda containers on the regular shelves. (In our old two door - freezer on top model, we could store all in the door). I was just wondering if you could reduce the freezer size while increasing the refrigerator area making the door several inches longer to ellminate this problem on new models. I judge most people buying this model already have a seperate freezer and do not need as large of freezer compartment as currently on this unit.

Great Fridge!!

After 1 year with the fridge, this was a great choice. The space is ample, and have only once filled the fridge (when a very large party was held, and the whole top shelf was soda).
Only 2 draw backs found!! Our ice compartment tends to freeze the ice together, so we must open the compartment and knock a couple of times to let ice come out of the dispenser.
And the first time anyone gets water they end up getting water on the floor, because they leave the glass under the ice spout.
Neither are huge issues, so i recommend this product!!
