Love my new fridge!!! It was delivered last night and as I put my food in, I couldn't believe the space!!! There is a spot for everything and loads of room left over!! I also love the size of the ice cubes. LG didn't leave anything out!!

Having the ice maker in the door is a wonderful space saver. Good bright lighting. More than enough space with all the shelves being adjustable and some slide back and forth when needed.
Freezer door is a little noisy, but manageable. However the seal is very strong and is sometimes difficult for our daughter to open.

Absolutely fabulous. I love the design, plenty of room in the freezer, nice ice cold water. Definitely loving the space for storing enough food for my family. I've been nothing but pleased with this choice and purchase.

Have owned & used this French door refrigerator for a little over 1 month and so far everything is good. It is quiet, roomy and efficient and I love the option of using the alarm feature which signals when the door has been left ajar. I only wish this model had a surface and doorhandles which hide fingerprints and smudges. Other than that I am very satisfied with my decision to choose this refrigerator and would highly recommend it.

We recently purchased an entire kitchen of LG products and we absolutely LOVE them all. I have always wanted a french door refrigerator and originally was going to buy the smaller capacity LG. I am so glad I decided to go with this refrigerator.. Very spacious inside! If I had to come up with a negative (though it's really not), I would say the icemaker doesn't hold much.. But we dump it into the ice bin down below so we always have enough. It also took a couple times of shooting water out to get used to the water dispenser.. Again, not really negatives, just stuff to get used to.. I don't think you could find a better fridge for the money.. SO pleased!!!

Good product, one exception

I purchased my LFX28978 last July and have been pleased with everything but the water dispenser. The impression when using it is to have your glass in the same position as for dispensing ice. You must actually remove your glass from that place and hold your glass beneath or pressing on the lid saying water. If not you have water coming out all over the floor. I have had to inform everyone who first uses the water dispenser how to use it. We all think it is ridiculous. I have returned to the store where I purchased the fridge and the sales staff was not aware of how this works. The newest models have been changed so the spigot is visable. I find this a nuisance and poor design that should have been caught before production of such an expensive item. Even the pictures show a hand pressing on the water button or lid. The water would come down on the hand not into a glass.If you press a glass glass, not plastic, the glass scratches the metal. Be sure the kids know how to use this properly.They may think it's a hoot. I think it's a pain.

I chose this fridge over the otheres because of the large freezer size. My only complaint is that the water that dispenses from the door is not that cold. Other than that a good choice.
