BEST REFRIGERATOR EVER

My wife and I have been married 51 years, and have gone through 5 or 6 different refrigerators with moves etc. I can honestly say that this LG Refrigerator is the best designed, quietest, and best styled refrigerator that we've ever owned. Thus far the performance of the refrigerator has been more than outstanding. After seeing the refrigerator in our home, several friends ran right out and purchased the very same model. We love it.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality, Style/Design, easy to use, ice/water dispenser

Great refrigerator

Have had only a month but am thrilled with it. Easy to use, spacious, easy to clean inside and out. Ice maker a bit small and slow to make ice but a minor thing considering all the rest. Bottome freezer is great. Much better than the side/by/side. Love the 10 yr. warranty on the compressor as that is where all prior refrigerators failed and in a very short time. LOVE IT, LOVE IT...... so far!

I love the extra space of the 28 cu. ft French Door model. I especially like the ice maker on the door and the space it frees up. The variable humidity and temperature of the refrigerator storage drawers is a plus. The interior lighting is excellent and the freezer storage drawer makes getting to items very easy. I would prefer the temperature indicators on the door reflect the actual temperatures of the freezer and refrigerator rather than the settings.

Took two warrenty visits from the repair folks to replace the freezer door seal and the squeaky wheel on the freezer drawer. Now we are really happy with our purchase...great capacity, good layout, easy to use.

I have owned this fridge for 2 months now and do not regret this purchase. I really like the French style door system. The LED lighting in the refrigerator area is very bright and even in light cast throughout. The drawers are sizable and very smooth in operation. The ice machine in the door is working out very well. I transfer ice to an ice bin in the freeze when I know the demand will be very high. The freezer is very well lit and it's top drawer makes it easy to grab most commonly needed items. The lack a noise when the appliance is running is unbelievable! The deeper ice/water dispenser is nice for filling larger containers. I love the LED lighting when filling from this dispenser and this LED light can be left on as a night light. I would definitely purchase another LG appliance!

LG Love is Great

A month and one-half and so far it is just great. Good looking AND functional and very quiet. Had heard the ice-maker was noisy, but we barely hear it. If there is a negative, it is the small size of the ice maker, but necessary for all that extra space. It compensates by having an ice cube bin in the freezer drawer that conveniently holds a ten lb. bag of ice. Once the ice maker gets cranking there is enough ice to do periodic dumps to the ice bin. If its hot and you are using lots of ice, no sweat...drop in a ten lb. bag from the grocer in the bin.

Great Refrigerator

The only thing I was worried about with this fridge was that the icemaker wouldn't be able to keep up with consumption as it is a bit smaller bin because it's inside the door. So far it's been great and you can boost the ice production and save the ice in the ice bin in the freezer. This feature allows for much more shelf storage space in the fridge itself
My vegetables and fruits stay fresh much longer than in my old fridge and it's great to be able to see everything without rooting around.
There's lots of space for tall items and with a little planning, the door bins work great.
The freezer does hold a lot and is well organized with the inside drawer and two large freezer bins under. We have emptied our upright freezer in the basement to save energy as there are only two of us at home now. Dinner planning is much easier because I can see everything in the freezer and don't have to throw anything out because it's buried.
Because it's such a large fridge, it does stick out from the wall a bit more than our last fridge but we're getting used to that now and plan to renovate and build the cupboards around it out a bit. We did have to remove the cupboard from above the fridge as it was 2" taller than the space we had so measure well.
All in all we're very happy with our purchase.
