Holy giant fridge Batman!

When they say ultra-capacity, they mean it. This thing is enormous, so enormous it barely fit where we needed it to go. When shopping for our fridge, we looked at at least 100 going through each of the features and opening doors and seeing how the lights lit the inside and how resistant the doors were to fingerprints and many other things. The fridge section is enormous, I know I already said that but really it is. The sign on it while we were in the store says it can hold 28 gallons of milk. I'm not sure how that is necessary but I'm sure glad that I have that ability if I ever have to store that much milk. There are compartments and shelves and so many combinations of adjustableness that you can fit whatever you like in there. The door mounted water and ice works well although for us the ice maker doesn't shoot out ice but that's because we live in NM and the air is so dry it makes the ice stick together. No big deal, we use the ice maker to make the ice and then put it in the tray in the freezer. The freezer is also quite big. The one thing that I would caution on is that you need some organization skills to position everything in there so you can find it again. There is a large section at the bottom and then a removable shelf on top which is about 6 inches deep to hold smaller items. I know that you can open one door to get stuff from the fridge but I usually open both just so I can bask in the interior greatness of the perfectly colored LED lights inside revealing my bounty inside.

Very well designed refrigerator with great features. The space saving ice maker sold us on this versus other brands and we have had no problems with it.

this is a fantastic fridge! there is not one feature i am unhappy with! wonderfully big but the exterior is not any bigger than the fridge i got rid of so it is like free space! love all the compartments for easy organization! love the freezer drawer so all of my frozen foods are also organized an easy to see! water and ice are perfect. i can see that it doesn't hold that much ice, but if i were to have a party i probably would not use the "extra ice" feature, i would probably buy a bag of ice at the store anyway. so happy with my purchase!

Love the size and features

Just had the refrigerator delivered a few days ago and absolutely love everything about it. Having the Ice & water in the door was the greatest Idea they came up with. No more losing space in the frige or freezer comparter for the unit. It even fits 10 bottles of beer on the mini shelfs infront of the ice/water unit. After seeing this frige in my kitchen I want to replace all the appliances with LG ones.

Great Fridge

We spent weeks examining refrigerators in a large number of stores. The interior layout, features, and size of this model were EXACTLY what we wanted. Having three utility "crisper" drawers, plus a full width, temp adjustable bottom drawer are items we found in no other models we checked out. There is a tradeoff with having all of this interior room, and that is to have a smaller than usual ice bin. We decided the tradeoff is worth it, and are delighted we made the decision to buy. The only downside we've found is with the movable left door seal. It occasionally will "flip" requiring a manual re-alignment for the doors to properly close. If you mess up, the alarm will sound within a few seconds letting you know the unit is not properly closed. We have NO REGRETS about our purchase

Best refridgerator ever.

I had spent months looking for the right refridgerator. I have a family of 7 and needed more refridgerator room. We found it. This refridgerator has it all from the ice make in the door to the actual heighth that is provided at the ice/water dispensor. This LG refridgerator was and answer to our prayers. We have an enormous ammount of room now and everything has its place. We can even fit 3 gallons of milk into it and still have enough room for days of leftovers. I also like the alarm system on it. The kids are constantly leaving the door partially open and within a matter of a minute it will let you know about it. There really isnt enough room on here to talk about all the features. I give this product 5 out of 5.

Space is Great

Life is good! So far this refrigerator gives exactly what is promised. The total refrigerated space is the amount of space total in our old refrigerator including freezer. Love the Slim SpacePlus and the newly added in the door soda and condiment bins. The sliding shelves are also a plus and the reason we decided on the 28 as opposed to the 31. Looking forward to many years with this baby!
