After two years of use, this microwave is shot. The fan runs every time the door is open. Try operating the microwave and it blows a fuse. Sadly, this happened to our prior Spacemaker XL, which was ultimately recalled. To have the same thing happen to our replacement is frustrating! I will not buy a GE microwave again.

The model goes great with all my other appliances from GE. The quality is great and the feature of conserving energy for a night light at specific times. This not only reduces energy but allows the buttons to be pressed less reducing overall ware and tear. The microwave cooks perfectly and has all the bells and whistles I'm looking for. Quick easy push of a number 1 or 2 and the food is being warmed for 1 to 2 mins. Very user friendly and a joy to use. I would recommend for the cost for service, repairs and parts to be reduced for overall cost of ownership to improve once it goes past warranty.

The product did not even work for 3 years. My prior microwaves lasted forever with no issues.

Had some trouble with the rack clips burning, ever since we replaced them we have had no issues.

Microwave worked good for about 5 years. It died suddenly and needs to be replaced. I used to think GE was the best. Last 2 get products I purchased did not work out so well. Bought a GE dishwasher and died in the first year. Circuit board had to be replaced under warranty.
