It's no surprise this is no longer available

After two years of use, this microwave is shot. The fan runs every time the door is open. Try operating the microwave and it blows a fuse. Sadly, this happened to our prior Spacemaker XL, which was ultimately recalled. To have the same thing happen to our replacement is frustrating! I will not buy a GE microwave again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1. I absolutely love the programmable night light. I set it to come on when it is getting dark at night and to go off when it is getting light. I love this feature.
2. Not sure I was going to be impressed with the sensor cooking but I love that feature as well.
3. Sure glad they made the handles stainless steel. Just wish they had not put the curve at the bottom of the door as it does make it a tad bulky and makes it look overly large.

Installation was simple - exactly replacing our previous unit. It is quieter and more powerful than our previous microwave and has greater capacity.

Great microwave for the price

I bought this microwave 6 months ago and love it. It cooks faster than my old one, and also comes with 2 shelves if needed. One of the greatest things that this microwave does is let you cook and use the timer at the same time. The ones I had before did not do that. It works really great, and the only problem that I have with it is that the surface light on it is not bright enough for me. Other than that it works excellently, which is what you want foremost.
