Outstanding Picture

Best I have ever owned and at a price that made it a no-brainer.
Pros: great for action & sports. almost 3-d
Cons: difficult to adjust contrast

A Dream Come True

I was looking to upgrade from a 50" DLP to a 50+" LCD/LED and came across my dream come true.
The LC6088EUN !!!
For the price and features it can't be beat. I've owned Sharp TV's before(back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth) and I thought it was a great deal then and it's still a good deal now..
Just GET IT!!!

PIcture is phenomenal! Automatic settings are more than adequate and easy to use. I even enjoye watching some commercials when they are created in HD.
Pros: enjoy the artistic efforts now visible in hd, good price/value ratio
Cons: shows that use fake scenery now look fake, no tolerance whatsoever for a non-hd commercial, increased my weekly average tv time

sound is weak requires surrond or sound bar

you have to turn the volume way up or run through a stereo. or attach a sound bar

Cons: sound speakers, no clock for timer on

excellent tv for the price great picture the sound could be louder im not to pleased with the big lag time when changing channels using the hdmi setup

Great Picture

When deciding on this TV I was also considering an LED model. My decision was based on a concern that the room I was placing the TV in had a lot of windows which could create reflection issues. This TV had a much less reflective screen than the LED, with its more glass like screen. I am very happy I made the choice to purchase the LC60E88UN, it has a great picture and works wonderfully in the room.
Pros: large screen, clear picture
Cons: depth of base if you don't use a wall mount

ever so glad we bought the larger tv. We really enjoy it. When watching a film we feel we are at the movies.

Great Picture

This model delivers everything it advertised to be. The 1080i picture is fabulous. What would have made the set even more outstanding would have been the inclusion of an audio return channel as is found on many of the current 3-D sets. Since this set is certainly an upper-end non-3-D model, the ARC capability would have been a good complement to today's home theater systems.
Pros: the 60" size rather than only a 55" option
Cons: no audio return channel
