A good buy for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had another 10 year old spacemaker microwave for over 15 years. We replaced it during a recall and were very happy with it. This one is the newest version of the same one and I can't help but feel that the newer version is slightly cheaper in feel and appearance. that said, it works very well and we're happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

broke after almost 3 years

i expect things i buy to work properly. Microwave OUT OF NO WHERE broke...says "key pad shortage" and won't stop beeping. I had to unplug because it was driving me crazy. I am not going to pay anyone to fix something since it's not worth the cost of the microwave. I except things to last more then 3 years..sorry if i'm old fashion. Won't be buying anymore GE products in the future...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just bought this microwave and was nervous about attempting to install it myself but it was SO easy. The features are great and my kids can figure it out easily. I specifically bought this for the auto night light feature, our kitchen is a very dark corner of the house and I love that the gentle light comes on every night. I do not have it vented outside, I have it set to recirculate and feel this is the first over-the-range recirculating microwave that does not blow the steam, etc right back in my face, it actually pulls it up and away. Love this microwave!

I love this microwave. The over the range makes it convenient and easy to use. I only wish it baked! Other than that, i love and is easy to clean.
