This microwave oven matched the new stove i Purchased recently, so I thought i would give it a try. So far so good. The sensor buttons have far exceeded my expectations so far. Everything else seems to be working as expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife and I are a 2 person household so we thought the microwave would certainly last longer than 3 or 4 years. It is not durable. It broke just after 3 yearsIf GE beleives it makes quality, the warranties should be at least 5 years not "1 year".

The Worse Microwave

This is the worse microwave I have ever owned. It's very loud and the door creaks when you open and close it. I am very surprised at the poor quality on this microwave.

Fits With Deep Cabinet / Wall on the left

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My preference would not have been this microwave. We originally had a GE Profile Convection Microwave delivered. After installation, the door would not open.
After much research, we discovered this is one of the last microwaves by any manufacturer with a door that will open next to a deep cabinet, or wall on the left. Our cabinet layout is a 15 inch deep cabinet on the left, and 12 inch deep cabinets over the top and to the right.
Most OTR microwaves with the door open exceed the standard 30 inch opening. Many require adjacent cabinets/wall be from 12 inches minimum to 14 inches maximum. From what I read on various sites, there are many people in my situation. If that is you, then this is your microwave.
If you are part of the GE product team, your product specs are costing you sales, and limiting consumer options. You need a product specification requirement that the "doors must open within the width of the cabinet opening." We would have spent twice as much for the other full featured microwave, but had to settle for this model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Plastic covering over controls is peeling off
