not what it should be for price

I wanted a top quality frig for my kitchen and thought the LG brand was the way to go but after buying my frig i have discovered that this product does not stand up to even half the cost of the product....the ice maker works about 30% of the time and the plastic that the drawers are made of just crack if u even touch them with the doors they should be of a more durable plastic that will withstand the breakage of most of the shelves and drawers that broke after about 4 weeks of owning this product and mind u it's just me and my husband no kids in the house to mistreat anything so if this product wont withstand 2 adults that a very cautions of thing how can it withstand a house with children slamming the doors and pulling objects out of the frig over plastic barriers.....so dissapointed i can't even tell u how much this is a disappointment to me and my new kitchen....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great 4 dooor Lg refrigerator

After reading many reviews on this refrigerator, I made the plunge and bought it! I've never regretted that decision! The refrigerator arrived as described,and performed as said. It truly is exactly as described; a beautiful piece of equipment!
People in other reviews complained about the ice maker....no problems there. The ability to store, see and retrieve the item you need far surpasses the small ice maker, which by the way, is not a problem.
I also read that the unit made a noise...I might be getting older, but I don't hear even a hum from the unit.
In a nut shell, its well lit with LED lighting; it was designed to accommodate an ample amount of groceries with the added genius accessory of organization, meaning accessible compartments enabling one to find what they need without "digging " for it and dual freezers for storage of needed and not so needed larger seasonal items. I also made a point of looking for a refrigerator that was not consumed with a big , bulky ice maker which took up a lot of space in the refrigerator, thus occluding room for groceries. The Slim Space Plus Ice System refrigerator fit the bill. Check it out. You won't be disappointed!
All in all, a great purchase. My kids will be fighting to inherit this refrigerator!

We've only had the unit for 2 months but so far it has been wondeful. The linear compressor is VERY quite, the lighting is good and the unit holds temperatures exactly as set. While the refrigerator section doesn't seem to hold quite as much a as our comparable size side by side, everything is easily visible and reachable. No more getting on hands and knees to get to the back of the lower shelves. The 2 freezer drawers also make it so easy to find and locate items. Again, no more hands and knees to get to the back of the freezer. While the icemaker is smallish, it makes plenty of ice for the 2 of us and, if the cubes get stuck together as they did in our old ice maker, it takes just a few seconds to open the icemaker, breakup the cubes and your back in business. The door warning feature works well if the doors are not closed in 30 seconds. The lighting is all LED lighting so no problems with heat buildup if the light were to stay on. All in all, it appears LG has made significant improvements in their products and so far, we are delighted!

We bought our LMX28988ST 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. The interior has a huge amount of space and the user friendly functionality of this unit is a must for anyone looking to buy a great refrigerator. The interior lighting is incredible. You won't be sorry with this purchase.

This refrigerator is great looking and has great features. I have read many complaints about the ice but have not had any issues with not having enough. I have placed additional ice in the freezer section so I always have enough. The lighting inside is so much better than my last refrigerator.

Even though this fridge is smaller than my old one, it holds more food items. It is the first unit that can truly freeze ice cream hard; I mean rock hard.
The Ice maker makes tons of ice. The ice/water dispenser design is very cleaver. I can easily fit a 2 quart pitcher under the spout for water; my old fridge couldn't do that.
The shelves on the door are a little small, I wish they were larger.
Overall, I love my new LG refrigerator. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Really great fridge. Lots of room. Only drawback, be prepared to buy ice. It doesn't make very much very fast

I am in love with my new refrigerator. I love the look and design so much and the funtionality of this refrigerator. I always wanted a french door refrigerator. With this fridge I'm able to easily find things. There is ample amount of room. I love the ice/water system and it makes just the right anount of ice. The water function takes a little getting use to but to tell you the truth we were able to get how it works right away. Great product LG.
