The two drawer freezer is very efficient

This refrigerator is a well thought out refrigerator. There is no space in the refrigerator that was not thought out. From the ice maker in the door, to the adjustable shelves and the two drawer freezer. We had a side by side before and you could never find what you wanted in the freezer without everything falling out on you feet. With the two drawer freezer you can put frequently used items in the top drawer and everything else in the lower drawer. It makes everything easy to find without falling on your feet.

Large capacity, easy to access

I have a narrow kitchen and the LMX28988ST is perfect for the space. The double upper doors allow access to the food without completely blocking the kitchen. The double freezer drawers makes it easy to find what I am looking for.
I originally didn't want an ice maker, but now that I have one, I can't imagine going back to living without it.
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

We purchased this refrigerator when our old one stopped working. It was in stock and I could take it right home. It has fantastic storage inside. We love the large bottom freezer's. We have had no problems with it. The only complaint I have is the water from the dispenser shoots out with a great force and splashes on the door panels. This gets annoying. Otherwise we really like the refrigerator.

Makes our kitchen look beautiful

Its an absolutely beautiful refrigerator! It's the first thing people notice when they walk into our kitchen. The size is wonderful, and the 2nd freezer drawer is the best feature! Yes, as previously stated, the ice maker is not huge. We found using the extra bin provided in the top freezer drawer is ideal for storing extra ice. When we know we will have extra people over, we just transfer the ice from the ice maker to the bottom bin and it works great. The ice re-fills quickly!
The only negatives I have found in 6 months is that sometimes the ice maker does "freeze" up. I have to open the door and wiggle the ice down to make it work again...but no big deal. The biggest negative is that sometimes if you open the right door, then the left door, then close the right door before the left door the small piece in the middle does not flip all the way up and will bang into the closed right door. We are just very cautious to make sure the small piece is flipped all the way up before closing and its not a huge deal, but just kind of annoying.
Other than that, GREAT refrigerator! No big complaints! :)

The Ferrari of Refrigerators!

I love this fridge. Refrigerators, I thought, big deal.
Well, my attitude has changed! Loads of space how it's really needed, LED lights so you can see everything, alarm when you leave the door open and waste energy, two freezer drawers so you can separate vegetables, bread, frozen foods from a meat drawer. The bonus? It's BEAUTIFUL to look at. You know how you feel when you buy a new car and keep looking at it. That's how I felt the first week! My kitchen flows into the family room and while I watched t.v. I kept looking at this beautiful refrigerator. In fact since I bought this fridge, I have replaced everything in my kitchen to LG. My new LG stove is as awesome as this refrigerator. Life IS good!

The ice maker is terrible!

The ice maker is terrible! It freezes solid and won't come out. Water leaks down into the bottom freezer drawers and freezes them closed! I hate this frig! I have had it serviced two times and the problem is keeps happening over and over!! AHHH!

Beauty and Great Features

Beautiful refrigerator! Have to get used the the french doors, though. The double freezer drawers are the best feature! So glad you have them. Ice tray clogs up sometimes as in-door ice makers do, but being able to get into it makes it easy to break apart. (Also, wish they had self-cleaning stainless steel.) I would buy another, but hope I don't have to. I would look for a better sale price.
