Worked great until it failed after less than 8 yea

Well they don't make refrigerators like they used to. Bought in 2010, died in 2018, compressor failure. Did not want to go thru the hassle of repair and paying labor our of pocket for who knows how many years, so bought another fridge, yes LG...but I think this one will last longer, fingers crossed.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing 2 drawer Freezer

Never thought I could fall in love with a fridge, this was my best purchase ever. The 2 drawer fridge is genius design, top for ice cream and frozen veggies, bottom for raw meat, that way you get fresh ice and ice cream that doesn't smell like meat.
Awesome fridge!!!!

I will never buy another LG Product!

I had another LG refrigerator that just after the warranty expired the motherboard went bad. After several service repairs that never lasted more that a few months, I finally got rid of it. Had another refrigerator (not LG) for several year with no issues. Remodeled the kitchen and moved the good fridge to the garage and bought this new LG. It was fine other than the size of the ice storage, small quaintly of cold water from the door, and the fact that water will not dispense if the other door is open. Now the fridge is a few year old and just about all the door shelves have broken, and the left door center seal hinge has broken which requires you to replace the entire door. The way the seal is designed makes closing the door more difficult than I would like and now that the seal hinge is broken it is really a pain to close. Not very happy now, wish I would have gone with a different brand.
So why no more LG for me? I also bought the top end front loading washer and drier and my cloths don't come out as clean and as dry as they did with any others.
After ten thousand dollars of LG appliances, I would have expected a whole lot more for a whole lot longer!

I have had my refrigerator for almost 18 months. All I can say is LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. I would recommend this to anyone. Love the 2 freezer drawers.

Fridge has GREAT features, love the large deli drawer. I've never had a fridge that the settings for humidity for fruits/veggies seemed to work well but this one actually does! Love the 2 freezer drawers, we use the smaller one for items we use frequently and the larger one for items we don't use as often. Love the settings on the outside of the fridge which make it easy to ensure temps are as they are supposed to be and tells us when to change the filter. Great purchase!

I love everything about this product so far. It's very roomy, it's so bright when you open the doors. I love how it is set up, wide enough, well thought out for family use. I love the 2 freezer drawers. Very nice! Only had for about 2 months, but so far I'm loving it!

Ice maker has problems

The ice maker broke and had to be replaced completely within the 1 yr. warranty period. Periodically, with the replacement ice maker, there are frequent times that the ice, when dumped, will not break into cubes, leaving a tray size of unbroken ice in the basket. Consequently you cannot get ice from the dispenser without taking the basket out, breaking up the ice, and replacing the basket. This has become quite annoying.

Great Design, Performance & Looks!

Well thought of design. Besides being great looking, it is easy to organize items in the refrigerator part and the drawer/freezer parts. The ice cubes and water are efficiently placed and I love the taller water dispenser - can easily get water into water bottles without a hitch. This refrigerator keeps all items at a perfect temperature. The glass shelves and divided drawers are a great design. It even has a rubber strip on the bottom that helps stop dust from going under the refrigerator. LG sent an e-mail after registering this product with many helpful hints and videos. It proves that LG cares about the performance of their products and wants to please their customers.
