Worked great until it failed after less than 8 yea

Well they don't make refrigerators like they used to. Bought in 2010, died in 2018, compressor failure. Did not want to go thru the hassle of repair and paying labor our of pocket for who knows how many years, so bought another fridge, yes LG...but I think this one will last longer, fingers crossed.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the most part, I love this refrigerator. The tall water spout, ice dispenser on the outside, push-button open drawers and all the shelves are just great. As much as I love it, there are some cons to this frig. The ice maker is very small, so you need to keep additional ice in the freezer. My ice maker is giving me a problem right now and I've called the repair people. The ice door doesn't always close properly after dispensing ice. This causes the ice in the dispenser to get warm and start melting. The upper part of the ice then freezes in place and the dispenser won't work until you clean it out and get the door closed again. Messy! Hopefully, they can fix that issue. Would I buy it again? At this time, Yes. If the ice maker door can't be fixed, I might have a different response in another month.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: small ice maker

I am very happy with my purchase. It looks great and works just like I hoped. Plenty space. Great features. Although I've heard concerns about the capacity of the ice maker, I am very pleased with the operation. We have not had a problem having sufficient ice, and the ice making compartment built into the door is a great space saver. The water/ice dispenser is truly state of the art. Works and looks good. Layout of the interior is good. Double drawer freezer compartment helps compartment the items and prevents stacking of items leading to burying. Doesn't hold my beer mugs well in the freezer compartment, but I'll get over that.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, class, best buy service personnel were exceptional
Cons: need knowledgeable delivery personnel

Beautiful Appliance

This Refrigerator has the look of a much more expensive appliance.
The ice maker design is awesome! It loses no shelve space. Huge plus when I was looking for a replacement. All the others I compared, the ice maker took up a whole shelf.
The only drawback is how the shelves are designed. If you want them "even", you can't put tall items on them. I'd buy again."

It pays to shop around

My wife and I shopped around for weeks too all the competiors looking for a french door bottomfreezer refrigerator ,they all didn't have any selection or good prices to offer so we kept looking and found what we wanted with LG. This model has everything we wanted in the fridge that was replacing our 28 year old fridge that finally died of old age. So far we love it ! If you can afford it this will be worth every penny.

I love this fridge for the fact that it has 2 freezer drawers and the wide refrigerator shelves. The only thing that really bugs me is the water delivery system. Whenever we have guests, I have to lock it because the water ends up spilling all over the floor- it doesn't come out at the place people expect it to (they hold the glass in the wrong place). Frustrating!

OK, but expected more

- - I bought the unit as I very much like the 2 drawer freezer. It’s proven to be great as we leave the most often used items in the top drawer and the less used items in the bottom drawer
- I also Like the bright interior
- Do not like the fridge bottom drawer configuration, often have to open both exterior doors to access interior drawers. This is annoying as the design should allow for most of the drawers to be opened when only one exterior door is opened.
- I believe there is a manufacturing defect in the product. My top left hand exterior door has "dimples" where the stainless steel is puckered in. It looks like someone dinged the door from the outside but we had two new doors sent and they both had the same problem. I believe the insulation in the door cools down after injected and creates a vacuum which creates the defect.
