I purchased this unit when my old Canon finally died. Great price and features. My only quibble is the ink cartridges are kinda expensive compared to the cartidges used in my old Canon.

Great All-In-One for the price

I absolutely love the convenience of this wireless printer. I am attending college and I got tired of running into the other room to print something for school. Now all I have to do is push print and it's there. I even used it to print some photos for my deceased boyfriend's family. I was very impressed at the quality of the pictures since it's not listed as a photo printer. It scans quickly. Prints quickly. Copies quickly. It is a little noisy but I'm in the next room with an open space floorplan so I expected that. If it dies, I'll be buying another Canon to replace it. I can't get the fax to work but I'm going to reinstall the program and see if that fixes that problem. I think it was something I did in the set up process. Thanks for a great, well priced product for an unemployed college student.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, fast print speed, easy to use, acceptable ink consumption
Cons: Large Footprint

This is my second Cannon printer in 5 years. I've had this printer a little over three months. Although it took a call to Tech Support to get everything programmed correctly, once it was fully setup it has worked very efficiently. The sheet feeder makes scanning and faxing multiple-page documents a breeze.
The only thing I've been dissatisfied with is a ink cartridge problem and not necessarily a printer problem. The black ink 210 doesn't last very long and 210xl doesn't last much longer. I've gone through the cartridge that came with the printer and I'm on my 2nd 210xl. If you need to print a lot of documents, you are going to need to purchase a lot of ink cartridges. Fortunately, the cartridges are still reasonably priced.
Pros: reliable, Compact Design, durable, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use
Cons: High Ink Consumption

Wow Canon a really nice printer you made here. I really like the way the colors come out and it is very durable. I dropped it when I was carrying it to another room and not even a scratch. The only thing I think you should improve is the ink consumption because it just uses it up on high quality setting like the wind.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use, scanner works great
Cons: Slow Print Speed, Heavy/Bulky, High Ink Consumption

This is my first Canon printer/all-in-one and I'll probably never buy any other brand. It's fast, the print quality is excellent -- both for documents and photos. The scanner function works better than any I've had before. I've had this printer for 43 days, and I still have a little less than half of my black ink and a little more than 3/4 of my color ink. The best printer decision I've ever made.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Low Ink Consumption, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: Heavy/Bulky

Disappointed

I have been using my Canon MX-340 for over a month. I purchased because my old all-in-one did not have an upgrade to work with the new Windows 7 format in my new laptop. When I purchased my new laptop, I was able to purchase this printer at $40.00 less than full retail price and I really like the Wi-Fi feature-- so sick of cables. I am disappointed in the printer's loudness when calibrating and printing. It is not very fast, either. I do like the automatic closure feature that prevents the top half from slamming shut after accessing the print cartridges. Overall, for the money it has good print quality and will fill my needs. Sure wish it was quieter and faster.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed, noisy

Great Printer/Low Price

I bought this all in one for home use. Previously had a simple printer from years ago. I can't believe all this does for such a low price. I am not a "Whiz" with computers by any means but I had ablolutly no problem setting everything up (including wifi) and no problems using every function. Simply follow the directions. And yes, ink consumption is high, the display is dim. For me, two minor flaws I can live with. This is a fantastic device that I highly recomment.
