Good Stuff

I bought few days ago (5/31) and have been impressed. Right from the packaging, Canon has paid attention to detail. When you remove the printer from the box and install it, you can notice that they have gone great lengths to ensure that it be treated as a excellent product and not a 'value' product. For the cost of sub $100, this stands out. I have used heavily in the last few days since I bought it and must say that its a awesome all-in-one.
Pros: Easy Setup, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use
Cons: Dull Tones & Colors

MX340 is a winner

Just bought this several weeks ago, and amazed how easy to operate. The quality and craftmenship are beyond words. Also, the details of removing it from the box, and putting it to action are excellent. I used the copying format recently, and I could hardly tell the difference between the two. The directions for the wireless hook-up are somewhat hazy. However, Canon has a WINNER !

Paper feed failed after 4 monhts

I liked the product overall, but it's scan feature was extremely slow and produced very poor quality results. After only 4 months of use the paper feed failed. It would the paper in about 2" and no further. Meanwhile the print heads would continue to function and the printer sounded like it was performing a normal print job. There was no debris in the paper tray and the roller cleaning function was of no use. Since it was past the 90 warranty period I now have a large paper weight as I am sure it will not pay to repair it.
Cons: medocre construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad color quality

I am very disappointed in the quality of the colors whether I print a picture out off my computer or scan a picture into my pictures. The colors are not good, red is like 2 shades lighter than it should be plus other colors look faded out. I even went out and bought new ink but it was the same way. I didn't need the new ink so now I am stuck with it. This is new,about a month old. I'm so disappointed that you made these with color quality being so poor. I took my first printer back, thought something was wrong with it. You really need excellent quality in printing and pictures.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, durable, Lightweight/Portable, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: Dull Tones & Colors, unreliable, High Ink Consumption

Disappointing Quality

I initially liked this printer, but am/was very disappointed to have a false paper jam issue essentially brick it after only a few weeks of use.
Tech support, please contact me re: the issue...as it seems as though it is not unique to me and that it is perhaps caused by a faulty sensor.
Cons: paper jam sensor issue
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Price Performer

I purchased this printer to replace two older printers, one that I used for printing photos and another that was my home office all in one. This printer has excellent performance and excellent print quality. The older all in one printer was network attached via Ethernet CAT5 cable, so I was a little anxious about changing to this wireless solution. I found the setup quite easy and performance is actually better than the equipment replaced. I have installed the software and established connections across three PCs running XP, Vista and Windows 7. All installed flawlessly. The photo print quality is excellent also. I am very pleased with product especially for the price.
Pros: print quality, price
Cons: a little noisy

GREAT PRINTER SO FAR!

This printer is outstanding! I got it for my birthday a few days ago to use with school docs and homework etc... the prints are all fantastic and colorful. The pics are also very vibrant depending what photo paper you use. The set up was easy than what the manual was trying to explain. I am wirelessly printing across my room with no problems. Now I have to figure out how to set up my android phone to print directly to this printer :) FYI- I also have the rebel dslr from canon and when I print those pictures on the canon printer they just look so nice and professional. YAY!

Cons: no sd slot

The printer produces excellent copy and photos.
After setting up the WIFI, I need to turn it off and use the USB... I can't find a way to do that.
