Software had to be installed a number of times but the range on the wireless is pretty good. Works well for practical use but not business use. Ink does seem to run out faster then normal. Over all I am happy with it.

Not durable

I've been very satisfied with 2 canon camera's i've owned, so buying a printer from canon i expected more. I've printed both documents and photos and after only 1 ink jet replacement, halfway through the second refill one of the paper intake gears broke, so the paper would be sucked in sideways and jam. Next time I will just buy an inexpensive printer, since they all seem to have an extremely short life span.
Pros: Easy Setup, Small Footprint, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: unreliable, Flimsy Construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

3 years and still going strong

I am happy with this printer. I am qualified to talk about quality, performance, features, speed, noise,, etc because I have been using it for 3 years - with literally NO problems whatsoever. Works beautifully every time. I use everything but the fax as I don't have a land line. I'm impressed with this printer and it looks like it will be around (usable) for years yet.

Excellent value / performance

For the price, an excellent choice for home office use. A good hard-working all-in-one. Probably not for geeks who want top-notch graphics resolution. When I got a new computer I needed to update drivers. Technical Support sent me good clear instructions and the download was flawless.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Small Footprint, easy to use, quality ouitpuit more important than speed

Good deal for its time

The replacement model is what this one should have been.
All it needed was real duplexing and it would have been perfect.
That said it has worked for 3 years and counting.
Pros: Superior build quality, Super-sharp images, ink bundles are reasonable cost
Cons: manual duplex

Durable, Long Lasting

Stands the test of time. Similar to an SUV that uses lots of gas, it does seem to go through ink a LITTLE more quickly than its peers. But a real good multi purpose wireless device, easy to use as well.

Don't know if I would buy again

We just purchased this machine a couple of weeks ago and it has already given us lots of issues. It took forever to hook to the wifi. We have high-speed cable and never have any problems connecting - but this machine could not find our WIFI. We went through manual set up and after lots of frustration finally got the machine to recognize my computer. Just used the SCAN feature today and its very slow. Image quality is average. Maybe I'm too used to the fancy machines in the office, but I guess I expected more from this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
