Canon all in one printer

This is the first Canon printer that I've used and I'm satisfied with the general performance in the areas of the quality of the print that I get out of it. It does seem to use a lot of ink compared to what I have been using previously. If Canon would just lower the price of ink the higher consumption wouldn't be such a problem.
It is also somewhat slower to get to work on the print job so at times I have wondered if it was still on. The slower start of the print job is a distraction at times.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: Large Footprint, High Ink Consumption

I bought this printer and I have been using it for awhile. I love it!!! Prints photos very well. Also prints pages well. I also love that is has WI-FI. The the all in one feature is very nice comes in handy. Never had any issues at all with this printer. Great printer for the money.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Low Ink Consumption, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use

My MX 340

Have found that most all features work well! Printer has a very good color rendition! I do find that use of printer ink cart, if not original Cannon product stops all functions when ALARM light is activated! I have used remanufactured carts with other printer companies with great success butthis does not apply with Cannon!
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, durable, Sharp Tones & Colors

Good Printer for the Price

I have owned this printer for a little more than a week and can say that it is a good printer at a great price. The wifi is great in a small home network. My issues with this printer is that it is NOT the easiest to initially setup nor is it very quiet. Overall, I would say that it is a slightly above average printer.
Pros: wifi
Cons: Difficult Setup, loud when first starting

Best Purchase For The Price

I have only had this product about a month but have found it to be excellent as far as print quality and scanning. The printer does have to warm up before you can print and in between print jobs for a little bit. I wish Canon would solve that problem somehow. The only other problem I had was with the ink cartridge. I had to replace the original black ink cartridge after only one week. It wasn't that I printed that much. I'm still using the original color cartridge. Also, I have changed the setting to print grayscale only (black) but noticed that in some instances it still prints in color. I would buy Canon again as this is the 2nd Canon printer I have had and the printer quality and features are outstanding.

Scan Quality, File size

I have had much difficulty scanning in moderate size files. They have been 22 and 35 pages and after the scan, when saved to PDF format, they become so huge as to not be permissible as email attachments. Nor can I upload these to an HOA communications website posting. I have changed the resolution on the advice of a PC person in my area, but the file size still come out to 15,643 KB. I do not see any other options that may help me and I may have to purchase another product. My scanning is virtually never done with photographs.
Pros: Compact Design, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Slow Print Speed, Dull Tones & Colors
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Printer Ever

I got this printer because of the Fax feature and so far it's been easy to use. The printer was easy to set up and it's easy to replace the ink. I also got this printer because I can set up the wireless printer, has auto document feeder and I can also open it up and use the platen glass. And it's a reasonable price.
Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, Low Ink Consumption, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: Heavy/Bulky, troubleshooting help is hard to find
