OK Purchase

Overall the printer is good for the price. Set up, and support programs are very good. Photo quality is poor. Black’s areas on photos came out gray. I used Canon’s Photo paper (Glossy II paper)
Pros: Easy Setup, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: Large Footprint, Heavy/Bulky, Dull Tones & Colors, Flimsy Construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not bad, for the price

This is my second Canon printer; which means I rather like Canon products. The configuration is a bit odd, especially with a door that loudly pops open to expel the printed page. Print quality is great. Have had a few problems with the wireless connection, then again we use it for two computers, one of which is a laptop that travels between sites. Generally a okay machine, for the price.
Pros: reliable, durable, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use
Cons: Large Footprint, Heavy/Bulky, High Ink Consumption
I would recommend this to a friend!

the mx340 was a gift. serves my purpose for wireless printing, but i find it slow to respond and quite noisy before ,during and after printing. easy set up . have not use it enough to rate performance. display screen hard to read. screen needs light behind message

First Canon copier I've ever purchased because friend who repairs printers for a living told me Canon was the best. He was right!!! BEST COPIER I'VE EVER OWNED!!! It's not even close!!!
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Low Ink Consumption, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use, also a fax for great price

bad decision on purchasing mx340

Ive owned our cannon mx340 for a little over one year & its been a big headache. The wifi - wireless printer is worthless, usually its easier & quicker to connect the usb cord to get the job done faster. Also scanning papers is impossible. Its always wait a while!

Unable to connect to wireless mac network

I'm still not able to connect this printer to my wireless Mac network. It is asking me for a passphrase off which I don't have a clue. Any assistance would be appreciated.
I've had the printer for over 3 weeks and it it just sits on my desk.....
